We have two turfgrass scientists on staff from NC State University (NCSU) – Jonathan Rigsbee, CEO and Tommy Cowett, MA, Agronomist. They monitor the ever-changing Triad weather and make weekly adjustments to ensure your lawn gets exactly what it needs to not only survive but – to thrive. Unlike our national one-size fits all competitors, every decision about the products GrowinGreen uses is based on NCSU data & research coupled with that of our own in-house researchers who bring over 50-years of local experience to our clients.
At GrowinGreen, we’re committed to nurturing the health of your lawn and family. We believe that anything used for a customers’ lawn should first be used on our own. This is why our company mascot and family pet, Clover, must put her “Paw of Approval” on every program we offer.
Our team goal is 100% customer satisfaction. We treat our customers the way we want to be treated, like family. We’re locally owned and operated, not part of a large company or franchise, and we take our obligation to provide you with the best service possible very seriously

We specialize in developing and implementing a team approach to improve the look and health of your outdoor environment.
Jonathan is the founder of the company and is a graduate of NC State University. He has served and held leadership positions on numerous industry boards, both on a state and national level. Jon is married to Cathy and they have four children, Shannon, Erin, Caitlin, and Nathan. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.
Our Cancellation Notice
For your convenience, service automatically renews from year to year. Please remember that any change in your service must be done in writing and must be received before the treatment is completed to prevent charging of that application. GrowinGreen does not require a contract and you may cancel at any time. If you’re an installment payment customer, your account will be reconciled according to the services provided at that time – a balance or a refund may be due depending on when the cancellation was requested.
GrowinGreen's service relies on a partnership between us, our customer and Mother Nature. GrowinGreen's treatment is guarateed for our full-season clients - if you are not 100% satisfied, please call us within 30 days and we will re-treat your property at NO additional charge. Your lawn is our business and your happiness is always our first priority.
